Dear Standard Australian Shepherd Breeder,
I am shocked by your disapproval of our smaller Aussie relatives. Genetically our Miniatures ARE full Australian Shepherds, they ARE NOT mixes or impostors. Miniature Australian Shepherd’s were bred from Australian Shepherds and they have a shared history thats a fact!
We love our Aussies just as you love your Aussies. We appreciate Aussies of ALL sizes but you choose to turn your nose to us and claim your dogs superior.

A majority of our puppy parents are often people who grew up loved by a Standard Aussie but due to their current lifestyle and more commonly living situation such as condo and apartment living to small house even smaller yard, the Mini and Toy varieties fit their situation better.
We ARE NOT taking from your breed, we ARE NOT shaming the Aussie culture. We ARE merely providing a smaller variation of the same root genetics, looks and personality in a smaller lap dog version to people who would probably switch dog breeds completely.
Please, for the sake of our wonderful dogs, Standard, Miniature and otherwise, can we find love and appreciation for Aussies of ALL sizes.
